I've been tagged!

I’ve been tagged for the first time by Darcie at Such The Spot.
Favorite person (outside family)?  There are many people who rank up there at the top of my list. This week it’s my son’s teacher since I’ve been most appreciative for this fabulous school year.
Favorite food? Pizza or wonderful, vanilla custard ice cream.
Quirks about you? I have no tolerance for dumb people. I don’t like to talk when I’m tired. 
How would the person who loves you most describe you in ten words or less? I’ll have to add this later…once he gets back to me.
Any regrets in life?  Sometimes I think about certain paths or people that I may have wasted too much time on (or didn’t devote enough time to) but then I wonder if I’d be right here had I gone down a different road. I don’t think so. I believe everything happens for a reason. The good and the bad.
Favorite Charity/ Cause?  I like March of Dimes due to their help with premature babies and their families. The American Heart Association tugs at my heart strings since I lost both grandparents to heart disease.
Favorite Blog recently?  Such The Spot
Something you can’t get enough of?  Reading. I could read anything. I even find myself reading all the words on the back of shampoo bottles while I’m in the shower.
Worst job you’ve ever had? Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese, 16
What job would you pay NOT to have?  I could never be in the medical field. I have fainted at the sight of blood on many occasions. Scooping up road kill might be high on this list too.
If you could be a fly on the wall, where? My son’s school. I would just love to see what he does all day.
Favorite Bible verse right now?   Luke 12: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Guilty Pleasure? A late night swim in our pool after our son goes to bed. Heater is cranked up to at least 89. Followed by wine and candlelight in our gazebo.
Got any confessions?  My husband does most of the cleaning. He says he likes it. Whatever. I am not a fan of talking on the phone.
If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it?  I would buy some new clothes and spend a weekend at a spa.
Favorite thing about your house? My bedroom. I love to curl up in the chair by the fireplace and read a book.
Least favorite thing about your house? My cluttered, unfinished basement. Our first house had a beautifully finished basement. I miss that.
One thing you are bad at? Saran Wrap - I can’t tear it or get it over anything. It’s bizarre. Growing flowers - I seem to forget to water them. Collecting clutter - I need to learn to toss and sort.
One thing you’re good at?  Helping my family when they need it most.
If you could change something about your circumstances, what?  I wish we had a larger family. My son is an only child. He’s the only grandchild on both sides of our family. No cousins for Nicolas. It often makes me sad for him. I try to extend our family with great friendships.
Who would you like to meet someday?  A few authors that I admire.
What makes you feel sexy?   Only recalling the body I had when I was younger and a figure skater
Who is your real life hero?  My husband. He is my protector. My blanket to comfort me. My pillow to cushion me when I fall. Also, the NICU doctors that saved my son.
What is the hardest part of your job? Balancing the things I want to do with the things I have to do. Never having enough time to devote to my son for the simple things like playing catch or snuggling with a good book. Having the years go by too quickly.
When are you most relaxed? At night when I’m reading or ALWAYS on vacation.
What stresses you out?  Clutter. Saving vs. Spending. Any medical issues.
What can you not live without? My family but the internet and books would be next.
Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? I think people blog for all kinds of reasons.
Why do you blog? I blog to save my memories. Capture my thoughts. And because I love to write.
